Message from Kev Polk, tiny house extraordinaire:

I’m using the last of this gorgeous Fall weather to work on Beech (house #3: a whopping 100 square feet!) and hope to finish before winter sets in. I’ll post pics of that to this list. After that, I’ll probably stop posting here for awhile as I shift focus to a new project.

As part of that project, I invite you to take a 2 minute survey that explores how environmental values meet real-world choices. Feel free to share this with friends before it ends on Friday. If you want to know the results and what the new project’s about, just include your email at the end of the form, because I don’t plan to spam this list with not-so-tiny topics.

Feel free to use this list to share your latest tiny tales with other loosely Athenian tiny housers, or send us a link to your favorite tiny FB group.

Home Energy Data:

Can you spare less than 5 minutes to help a local energy management startup gather data about home energy use!

Message from Sense Labs:

We will be using this information for the selection of participants whose historical electrical energy data will be used to determine energy-use patterns in the home. All information gathered by this questionnaire will be held in confidence and available only to the founders, employees, and consultants of Sense Labs.

If selected for the study, you will be asked create an on-line account with AEP Ohio, download historical data from that account (instructions will be provided), attach the data file to an email and email that to us.

This data too will be considered confidential, any information identifying you or your home will be removed, and the data will be provided to Ohio University students for analysis.
